A gift in honour of our ancestors

I recall how in 2007 my father called me and said he met someone who was having financial trouble with his mortgage at the bank. He had not been paying interest on his loan and the bank was going to foreclose on his property in Siem Reap. At that time, I had just started working on a residential project in Siem Reap and didn’t want another project so soon. But the land was in such an unbeatable central location that it was impossible to say no.
